TO WHOM IT MAY INTEREST

In writing letters of recommendation, of

course, one wants to focus on all the

positive traits that make up a person we

are recommending. In this case, however,

it is the negative and the journey to

overcome that actually turns this story positive.

THESE ARE THE REASONS MR. BEAUMONT

WOULD BE AN ASSET TO YOUR ORGANIZATION ...

First thing I ever knew about Kilray is

that he genuinely cared about people

who were often relegated into obscurity,

those people who walk around us, but

mainstream society seems not to - or

chooses not to see. He always saw them

and would constantly challenge

me as a philosophical pastor

to do something on their behalf.

Next, he was relentless in his pursuit of

doing right for others even if he had a

hard time doing right for himself. This he

was passionate about and it would show through in his: won't take no for an answer attitude.

Then there was the fall from grace.

There was the humility and the hard lessons

learned. There was the puzzle of putting life back together, one piece at a time

So it hasn't been perfect. But

it's good and getting better. I have to

believe that he has suffered and then endured himself, he would be most capable of pouring

himself into others, that they would have the opportunity to do the same.
