I first met Jane in between sets at the PUBLIC SQUARE FARMERS' MARKET in WILKES-BARRE, PA. There she was bouncing up and down on the back of a flat bed truck serving as a portable stage for parks and recreation. Shocking red braids down to her shapely derriere covered in the maybe most ridiculous plaid pants ever conceived. And it all worked for good as Jane and her bandmates in the locally famous nineteen eighties cover band M80🧨were giving a hundred and ten percent for just plain folks squeezing tomatoes or maybe noshing on funnel cake.
Me, besides enjoying the vivacious rock spectacle of Jane and M80, I was pushing a big old shopping cart hustling up left over veggies generously donated by farmers for the benefit of RUTH'S PLACE EMERGENCY WOMENS' SHELTER ... the best project I ever had the privilege to be associated with.
And that's how I found out that the JANE TRAIN brand was all about PEOPLE and bringing COMMUNITY TOGETHER ...
